We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Operations Consulting - Director to join our Detroit, Michigan (US-MI) team, in a hybrid role in the United States (US).

The NTT DATA Supply Chain Operations (SCOP) consulting team designs and implements high-performance supply chains that support business strategies and enable our customers to adapt to changing market conditions while improving the bottom line. Our professionals work closely with leading companies' internal supply chain professionals to develop and implement change that improves cost efficiency and service levels, increasing the supply chain's contribution to overall business effectiveness.
The NTT DATA Supply Chain Operations (SCOP) consulting team focuses on implementing actionable results across the entire supply chain, with emphasis on Logistics Operations and Service Supply Chain. Specific service offerings include:
- Logistics Operations
- Warehouse and Facility Design
- Operations and Process Review
- Logistics Service Provider Assessment and Selection
Supply Chain Network Program Management

- Service Supply Chain Transformation
- Reverse Logistics Strategy
- Repair and Warranty Operations
- Service Parts Management
Asset Optimization and Disposition

Key responsibilities include:
-
Support sales of Supply Chain Operations service offerings
-
Support creation of thought leadership materials (blogs, public speaking, etc.) that support Chainalytics' overall brand and positioning

Support development of methodologies and new service offerings, including annuity revenues such as outsourced planning/analytics and membership-based research/benchmarking services
-
Act as a SME & mentor to the project teams delivering Supply Chain Operations services to our customers
Basic qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in operations, logistics, supply chain, industrial engineering, science, technology, math, business, or related major.

7+ years of working experience supporting logistics operations and/or service supply chain.
-
2+ years of working experience in operations and/or strategy consulting.
-
3+ years of experience working on large scale supply chain transformation initiatives.
-
3+ years of experience in defining existing operational process, identifying gaps and risks and building recommendations that drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
-
5+ years in using quantitative tools to analyze business data (MS Office©, Tableau© or other data analytical tools).

3+ years of project management experience.

3+ years of experience developing and managing junior staff members.

Willing and able to travel 50-80% for extended periods of time based on project location and/or client demand.
Preferred qualifications:

Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or other graduate degree preferred.

Experience in developing business cases in support of implementing process improvements, operational efficiencies, automation, systems, etc.

Experience in developing a sales pipeline and drafting proposals to address prospective clients' problem statements.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $150,000-180,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
