Occupational Therapist and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant/Licensed
Required Qualifications:
Current Arizona Certified Occupational Therapist License and/or current Arizona Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant license, CPR certification (preferred, but can obtain after hire) Current Finger Print Clearance Card

Job Description:
- Working with patients ranging from infants (after established competency) to 15 years.
- Full compensation for cancellations.
- Mentorship with OT and COTAs.
- Interdisciplinary team approach and treatment.
- All therapy is "in clinic" with no outside travel.
- Rotating caseload.
- All equipment and supplies provided.
- Complete daily notes based on patient's therapy session during clinic hours (MS Word files).
- Comfortable working with children with various diagnoses, most are high-functioning and very active.
- Open to creativity and fresh ideas for clinic and sessions.
- Comfortable with golden retrievers in the office.
- Availability 9:45am-6:30pm Monday through Friday. (some flexibility)
- Ability to work in different environments in the clinic - Examples: working on floor with kids, seated at table, equipment set up, handle children on swings and ability to lift 25-50 lbs.

As certified and licensed professionals, we evaluate and treat children with neurological, developmental, sensory integration, and/or communication disorders. Established and owned by an Occupational Therapist, we have been serving the needs of families in the Phoenix / Scottsdale area for over 20 years.
We provide a multidisciplinary approach offering pediatric occupational therapy, speech therapy and physical therapy, allowing for communication between therapists. We make Activities for Development a fun, safe environment that challenges our patients to learn and grow.
Activities for Development is a fully equipped facility that was specifically designed to provide children with special needs an ideal environment to enhance and further their skills. Our 11,000 square foot facility was designed especially for the pediatric population. The smaller treatment rooms and "gym area" offer a safe and challenging setting for children to learn, grow, and experience new opportunities for success.
We offer our employees a comfortable and flexible work environment with a team-based approach to therapy. We communicate with patient's families to encourage family involvement and therapy follow through. Time is provided after each session to discuss the therapy with the family to help each child build independence and confidence in their daily activities.
