BURBANK based snack food company is hiring Route Sales Representatives/ DSD that are responsible for selling & merchandising our snack food products at local stores including convenience stores, gas stations, and 711 stores, driving company vans. Hours per week average 50 to 60 hours including Saturdays but not Sundays or holidays.
Some of the tasks to be performed include:
Driving to the locations of the assigned routes.
Check in with the store owner or the delegate & deliver products, collect proof of delivery as required. Load products to the van from our warehouse & unload to the stores on the route.
Merchandise products & fill display units or shelves with our products.
Rotate products and move spoiled or out-of-date products, & process returns and credits.
Ensure maximize sales & minimize waste.
Applicants with experience in one or more prior roles including sales, retail, restaurant & customer service, jobs are welcome to apply.
Qualified applicant must have:
Ability to push, pull, bend, kneel and lift up to 40 lbs.
A clean driving record, good personality, strong work ethic, positive attitude, good communication skills & the ability to work with the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Sell and deliver products to designated customers on assigned routes
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
- Price and merchandise products according to company guidelines
- Drive company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
- Perform heavy lifting and loading/unloading of products
- Maintain accurate records of sales, deliveries, and inventory
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
