Support and execute cross functional supply chain initiatives within Kroger and selected suppliers to support the company Friendly & Fresh Initiative. Evaluate, revise, or develop new processes for maintaining proper distribution handling of fresh products through the entire supply chain (i.e., supplier processes, inbound transportation, Distribution Center operations, store delivery and store handling). Minimum
- 2+ years experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement
- 3+ years direct/project management experience
- Prior work experience leading a team of individuals
- Perishables retail operations experience
- Working knowledge and understanding of fresh/persishables supply chain processes
- Strong written, oral, and presentation skills
- Ability to execute change within an organization
- Proven ability to complete projects in an effective and timely manner
- Ability to prioritize and assign work according to business priorities and strategies
- Effective communication with all levels within the organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs
- Strong analytical skills

- Bachelor's Degree- Lead and maintain multiple supply chain projects while adhering to timelines and budgets
- Maintain and update sub-project plans and budgets including benefit tracking and recommendations
- Communicate with working group teams to execute project plans and escalate unresolved issues
- Identify and execute process changes, gain alignment from all functional leaders and work collaboratively to implement
- Ensure project objectives are executed to meet expectations
- Conduct various supply chain cost studies and identify future projects with management plans
- Actively engage with merchandising, operations and other groups to identify
- Collaborate with distribution and transportation operations to implement process changes
- Liaison to Kroger buying groups on project impacts regarding in-stock /service level to the stores
- Maintain flexibility to travel as needed, up to 15%
