Gundersen Health System is seeking a Nursing Home Administrator to join our team, responsible for oversight of both Gundersen Tweeten Care Center and Gundersen Harmony Care Center.
What You'll Do:
The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for the management, control and efficient operation of Harmony Nursing Home, Spring Grove Nursing Home (with a Memory Care Unit) and all other business operations of the corporation. The Administrator is specifically responsible for Organizational Strategy and Implementation, Fiscal Management, Human Resource Management, Excellence in Service and Clinical Quality, and Organizational Leadership.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Business or Finance or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) - Minnesota
- Minimum of 1 year of experience successfully leading an organization with an emphasis on balancing "mission and margin"
- Strong background in long-term care and memory care
- Knowledge of resident rights and regulations in nursing home facilities
- Excellent leadership skills to motivate and lead a team effectively
- Experience in successfully improving the quality of care and financial performance of a long term care organization while keeping eyes open for strategic growth opportunities
- Experience in working effectively with a Board of Directors, able to form a relationship of "partnership" with the Board
