$24,000 annum base compensation plus 50% of gross fee or commission compensation from accounts opened.
Job Summary:
As a Jr. Financial Advisor / Financial Services Sales Associate, you'll play a crucial role in assisting employees of our existing 401(k) employer client relationships. Your responsibilities include guiding individuals through the process of opening individual accounts such as IRAs, Roth IRAs, brokerage accounts, life insurance policies and other individual products. You'll also help new clients assess their needs and navigate account openings, while supporting existing clients with contributions, loans, distributions, and rollovers.
Minimum Experience:
Preferred: Two years of sales experience in the financial services industry.
Minimum Education:
- Life and Health insurance license
- Series 66 (or 65)
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Integrity, strong work ethic, and a passion for assisting others in financial planning.
Proven account management / sales or other related experience – including nurturing existing accounts and prospecting new opportunities.
Familiarity with the account opening process and paperwork at national custodians like Schwab.
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and MS Office applications.
- Outstanding customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with education and financial wellness presentations to plan participants to increase plan understanding, develop creditability, and relationships to plan participants.
- Develop new clients and open individual accounts (IRAs, Roth IRAs, brokerage accounts, etc.) for employees of existing 401(k) employer clients.
- Develop new clients and open individual accounts (IRAs, Roth IRAs, Solo 401ks, etc.) for members of national association relationships.
- Lead routine and follow-up client contact, providing exceptional service.
- Assess clients' financial needs and implement recommendations.
- Coordinate follow-up processes for new clients.
- Generate new leads through inbound referrals.
- Execute finance and sales transactions.
- Assist individuals in building secure futures through investment and retirement accounts.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations.
