It starts with our people, which is why we are in need of a motivated and enthusiastic Emerging Talent Coordinator. This individual will be essential in executing our firmwide recruiting efforts and will collaborate with our Emerging Talent team to support the execution of our Summer Program and Incoming Associate hiring.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates law student recruiting and summer associate programs as directed by the Director of Recruiting and Emerging Talent Manager

Assists with scheduling interviews, gathering interviewer feedback, and generating correspondence relating to the recruiting process using the applicant tracking system (viWAVE)

Organizes and maintains recruiting information in applicant tracking system

Posts job descriptions on the firm website
- Coordinates travel and accommodations for candidates when applicable

Identify interviewers, coordinate interview schedules, and compile and distribute interview materials related to law student recruiting

Assist with planning and executing summer program logistics, including pre-arrival and orientation activities, event planning, and administrative support for work allocation and evaluation process

Actively engage and participate in summer associate events, fostering relationships and contributing to a positive experience for attendees

Coordinate all pre-arrival logistics for onboarding of summer associates and collaborate with appropriate firm departments to ensure a smooth orientation process

Send surveys and communications to Summer Associates at the direction of the Emerging Talent Manager

Submits invoices and expense reimbursements in Chrome River; approves summer program related expenses for local offices

Provides support for law school recruiting, including tracking programs, registering for events, and maintaining communications with the law school community

Assist with planning callback events, offer dinners and receptions, and offer visits

Coordinate materials for decision meetings during the callback process

Assists with special projects as needed, across the firm's recruiting initiatives

Performs other duties as assigned

Proven working knowledge of the suite of Microsoft Office software and applications and the ability to effectively use candidate tracking software

Ability to prioritize assignments, manage time effectively, work independently and meet critical deadlines

Proactive in seeking innovative ways in which to help others and provide excellent client service

Flexibility to work additional hours
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (required); and
-
At least 1 year work experience (required); Recruiting/Talent Acquisition related experience in the legal industry (preferred)
