Role Overview:
We are actively seeking a compassionate and driven Part-Time Skills Trainer who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. This role is crucial for guiding children through behavioral challenges and helping them thrive in their natural environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home behavior coaching.
- Engage in educational and recreational activities to build strong, positive connections.
- Deliver tailored guidance, education, and advocacy.
- Collaborate within a team to address behavioral health challenges.
- Maintain flexible availability, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- Establish and nurture therapeutic relationships within the community.
- Participate in treatment planning and coordination.
- Document progress and submit reports promptly.
- Embrace virtual learning and accessible office space in Phoenix for meetings.
Qualifications & Equipment Requirements:
- A heart for service and adaptability.
- Completion of a negative substance abuse screening, fingerprint, and criminal history background checks.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
- At least 21 years of age.
- High School diploma/GED; related experience preferred.
- Must possess a working laptop and cell phone.
- Reliable transportation with valid proof of insurance.
- Clean driving record and willingness to travel.

Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in medical documentation, behavior management, special education, data collection, and social work.
- Experience as a Behavioral Coach, Behavioral Health Technician, or Youth Mentor preferred.
- Must be independent workers with experience in roles requiring independent work.
- Minimum one year of experience in the behavioral health field.
- Minimum one year of documentation experience in the behavioral health field.
- Out-of-the-box thinkers and solution-focused individuals are highly valued.

Compensation:
Training:
- Paid Training: The role includes paid training at $15 per hour, reimbursable upon completion of 15 hours of billable hours.
- Schedule: Potentially scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays.
- Skills Trainer: Minimum of 20 hours per week, including training, direct support, care coordination, family support, and coaching.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2 - 8 pm
Required Credentials and Availability:
- Current TB test, CPR/First Aid certification, unrestricted AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card, valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and auto liability insurance.
- Willingness to work summer hours and after-school hours during the school year.
- Candidates must be comfortable with group interviews.
Travel Requirement:
- 100% willingness to travel; this role involves on-the-road duties.
