Summary Description:
Harrison Energy Partners is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Inside Sales Engineer to provide essential equipment sales support to our outside sales team. The ideal candidate will ensure customer satisfaction through accurate order processing, timely job submittals, and effective communication.
Primary Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety and health requirements set by the company, federal, state, and local laws. Commitment to personal safety and contributing to the safety of others is mandatory.
- Project Management: Meet daily deadlines for plan and specification (spec) jobs, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Order Processing: Accurately order job equipment to meet customer specifications and project requirements.
- Job Submittals: Prepare and submit accurate job submittals for approval, ensuring all details meet project and customer needs.
- Customer Interaction: Handle phone calls from customers, providing prompt and professional support and information.
- Sales Support: Assist outside sales customers in the absence of Outside Sales Associates, maintaining continuity of service.
- Account Management: Promote and sell equipment to house accounts, identifying opportunities to expand sales.
- Training: Attend product training sessions and participate in self-improvement programs to stay updated on industry trends and enhance personal development.
Qualifications:
- Experience in sales or customer service, preferably in an HVAC or related technical field.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with all safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in inside sales and/or sales engineering
- Strong ability to create and deliver sales quotations
- Technical support skills
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
