RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Harvest and consolidate data from multiple sources to prepare and disseminate weekly reports highlighting sales trends, successes, and opportunities among the merchandising staff. This is a critical part of our success mission – maintaining visibility and responsiveness to current market conditions.
- Help manage the implementation of a new route scheduling system. We are in the middle of a conversion process to a new system. There are tight deadlines with many specific deliverables in functional areas, as well as processing capabilities that need to be met.
- Post-conversion, actively manage the ongoing functioning and support of the new route scheduling system. This role will involve collaboration between staff in the office, warehouse, and field merchandisers.
- Master and support the hardware side of the Route Scheduling system, including maintaining and procuring sufficient tablets, printers, and other equipment needed by the field merchandising staff.
- Offer continuous improvement ideas on better / more effective use of the new route scheduling system. As point person, the Operations Analyst will receive critical feedback and suggestions from the field, which are to be reviewed and discussed for adoption of best practices.
- Interface between Operations and Accounting, both from a software / data standpoint, and with conceptualizing use-cases and deployment approaches to improve business operations.
- Other responsibilities as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Expertise in data extraction, manipulation, and analysis in Excel
- Ability to work with Macros and Databases
- Proficient in MS Office tools, advanced level in Excel
- Experience in wholesale B2B within grocery/drug/mass retailing industry a plus
- Fluent English language skills
- Willingness to stretch yourself and learn new things
- Commitment to continuous improvement
- Proven ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or similar. Other degrees considered as long as there is a history of strong data analytics
- 3+ years work experience in Finance, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, or eCommerce
Base Compensation: $62,400 - $72,800 ($30-$35/Hr) + OT
Starting salary is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position. OTG is committed to helping our teammates succeed and advance in their careers.
