Baptist Health is looking to add a Enterprise Architect Advisor at the Baptist Jacksonville. This is a remote role in approved states.
An Enterprise Architect at Baptist Health spends their day architecting robust, scalable, and secure solutions to reshape the health system's technology landscape. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to design architectures that integrate seamlessly with on-premises systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare industry regulations. Their role emphasizes strategic planning, guiding the organization in adopting innovative services to enhance operational efficiency, data security, and overall patient care.
As the Enterprise Architect Advisor you will be responsible for:

Work closely with business and all IT teams, approve, and reconcile strategic architecture goals with the current state implementations. You will be responsible for driving architectural excellence across the Microsoft Azure ecosystem by defining and governing directives, principles, guidelines, and best practices for the organization to follow.

Recommend iterative paths towards the adoption of strategic architecture goals.

Hands-on-technologist with significant experience in architecture and engineering of hybrid Microsoft infrastructure platforms and services, including development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices for an automation first approach.

Lead cultural change for cloud and automation adoption.

Developing and coordinating cloud architecture with business, application, and engineering teams. Developing a cloud strategy and coordinating the adaptation processes. Assessing applications, software and hardware.

Establish best practices for cloud across the company. Selecting cloud providers and vetting third-party services. Help develop Cloud Center of Excellence.

Develop FinOps processes.

Ability to think and operate at scale.

Strong understanding of Azure architecture, including but not limited to Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, etc.

Expertise in designing and implementing highly available, scalable, and secure cloud solutions on Azure.

Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

Proficient in Azure monitoring, logging, and analytics tools such as Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, Azure Application Insights, etc.

Experience in integrating Azure services with on-premises infrastructure and other cloud platforms.
