Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Research Associate (CRA) role is a dynamic, scientific, and administrative position involving extensive medical research and writing. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Document Review and Audit Preparation
- Reviewing files to ensure all documents are in place for audits.
- Following up with clients to obtain any missing documents (e.g., CVs of Doctors).
- Training will be provided on folder structures and audit preparation.
- On-Site Visits and Compliance Checks
- Traveling to medical offices, hospitals, etc., to verify that information in the medical records matches what's in the electronic data entry forms.
- Reviewing regulatory files for compliance.
- Ensuring all information is in place and accurate.
- Auditing and Quality Control
- Conducting detailed audits to catch and correct issues before they become problems for clients.
- Noticing discrepancies and ensuring data integrity.
- Protocol Development
- Writing, reviewing, and editing trial protocols, project plans, monitoring plans, communication plans, data collection guides, and other trial materials.
- Scientific research skills are highly valued.
- Client Communication
- Maintaining discretion and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
- Communicating effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree (required).
- Experience: Prior medical experience is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, formulas) and Word (hyperlinking, comparing documents, redlining).
- Excellent communication skills and comfort in interacting with clients.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Ability to handle diverse tasks and responsibilities based on client needs.

- Training: On-the-job training will be provided for specific tools and processes.
