Associate Attorney-Unlawful Detainer (UD)
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in legal proceedings, such as hearings and trials
- Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy
- Advise clients on legal matters and provide guidance on potential outcomes
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Attend depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies
Skills:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the California state bar association
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal procedures
- Experience with litigation and negotiation
-Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, and other legal-related technology applications. Exposure or experience using Judicial Counsel Form preferred.
