It is a goal of Senior Care of Marion to provide a safe, caring, healthy, and highly functional environment for its residents and its employees. This position will play an integral role in maintaining that goal. This is because, many times this person will be one of the first point of contact for residents, prospective residents, and visitors. Some essential functions of this position are:
- must be able to work independently and as a member of a team
- observe the resident population and report any concerns to the appropriate department
- capable of managing a multiple-line phone system or switchboard
- capable of maintaining professional working relationships
- must respect the confidentiality of all resident information and be knowledgeable of patient’s rights
- professional dress and appearance
- provide a full range of administrative support
Requirements
- at least a high school diploma or equivalent GED
- at least 2 years of relevant job experience is preferred
- must have excellent communication skills
- must be familiar with computer systems such as Microsoft Office
- must respect the confidentiality of all resident information and be knowledgeable of patient’s rights
