Responsibilities:
- All teachers are responsible for the supervision, health, & safety of each child within our care.
-Implements the approved Goddard curriculum & daily classroom schedules. Teachers are to use the approved curriculum & adapt it as necessary for children's individual needs.
-Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about student progress and development by using the approved assessment tool.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the classroom
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a structured and organized learning environment
-Responsible for basic cleaning within your classroom area.
-Attends staff meetings, Faculty Development Days, & school transition days.
-Collaborate with other educations & administration team
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children, preferably in a childcare or educational setting
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Strong classroom management skills to create a structured & fun learning environment
-CPR/First Aid Certified (Infant - Adult)
-DCF 45 Hours and CDA or Staff Credential Preferred
-Ability to pass Level II Background
