Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services to patients of all ages. Your role will be crucial in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities: - Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist - Provide therapeutic interventions and exercises to patients based on their individual needs - Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions - Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to modify treatment plans as necessary - Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises for home practice - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Skills: - Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy techniques and interventions - Proficiency in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology - Familiarity with medical imaging and its relevance to occupational therapy - Understanding of occupational health principles and practices - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Experience in acute care settings is preferred but not required If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of patients and possess the necessary skills, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
