Position Summary
Global Filtration warehouse associate is a fast-paced, dynamic role that requires a high level of organization and efficiency, coupled with a focus on team cohesiveness and attention to our customers. This role plays an integral part in the success of our small team, where leading by example is the norm.
Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Demonstrate personal ownership of all aspects of this role to create positive results
2. Use detail skills to pull orders accurately and efficiently
3. Audits other co-worker’s orders for accuracy
4. Coordinate with couriers to pick up and drop off goods
5. Pulls and prepares orders to be loaded on carrier trucks
6. Monitor carriers’ performance and tariff charges to determine best carriers for the most cost-effective and reliable delivery within established standards.
7. Answer door to receive and unload incoming material from scheduled vendor trucks. Verify vendor packing list of incoming material against material received.
8. Maintains shipping and receiving logs and maintains files of shipping records. Processes loss freight or shipping damages claims. Verifies freight bills with accounting and resolves errors with carriers.
9. After inspection, add the proper part labels to the parts with proper lot and batch numbers. Stock parts onto the properly labeled rack or bin areas and updates the inventory in the receiving system.
10. Coordinates with outside process vendors(lighthouse) to maintain a 90 day supply of the Kits working with Purchasing.
a. Verify and ensure delivery of components for kits to assembly vendor Lighthouse
b. Replenish components through purchasing team or purchasing process
c. Restock, count, and control inventory to ready components in an orderly manner for delivery to assembly vendor.
11. Guarantee a clean work environment of the warehouse for yourself and others, takes out trash every Friday and keeps office areas clean. This includes the outside drive ways.
12. Update SAGE shipping software and paperwork per standard operating procedures
13. Develop an action plan for cost-effective shipments and execute the action plan promptly.
14. Track delivery of long-range overseas shipments for receiving. Track delivery of US vendor components.
15. Coordinate with Customs Broker (B & D Customs) for incoming shipments. File Customs paperwork to release inventory for pick up.
16. Assist in unloading, inspecting, and loading of merchandise to courier or stock room.
17. Use personal knowledge and expertise to perform quality assurance checks of our merchandise for our customers.
18. In accordance with Company’s safety policies, report any accidents in a timely fashion.
19. Maintain a neat personal appearance and demonstrate a courteous, service-minded attitude with internal team and customers.
20. Rectify inventory in system and execute invoices once shipment has left the building
21. Organize returns and RMA (return) paperwork to balance rejected inventory
22. Develop assessments and benchmarking to identify performance improvement opportunities.
23. Keep sales up to date through regular status reports in order to inform them of shortages, overloads, or damaged merchandise and any improvement opportunities.
24. Receive product from testing facilities
25. Perform daily close out duties of collapsing boxes, emptying trash to dumpster and closing out SAGE for days end.
26. Determines most cost-efficient bundling of items, (i.e. palletizing or individual packages, boxes etc.).
a. Receives product after final quality control inspection.
b. Packages items in marketing materials
c. Prepares packing lists, bill of ladings and other shipping documentation as necessary.
27. Assures compliance with workplace safety procedures.
28. Receives and inspects external packaging of all incoming shipments.
29. Pulls parts, inspects and counts parts to match Purchase Orders and / or Sales Orders.
30. Refuses delivery or notify vendors immediately of any shipping damage and proceeds accordingly.
31. Reviews incoming packing lists, C of C documents and FAA 8130-3 tags and routes any GF PMA products to Quality for FAI inspections.
32. Assists in making sure ALL parts are properly shelfed in proper bin locations and receives in the parts into MAS90 (Sage) against the open PO.
33. Files paperwork in the technical files per Numeric and Alph Numeric sequence.
34. Supervises loading and unloading of all delivery trucks.
Relationship coordinates with sales and customer service. Reports directly to Warehouse manager.
Qualifications/Experience
· Minimum Qualifications
o Must possess interpersonal skills necessary to effectively handle customers and vendors in a positive, service-oriented fashion
o Effective communication and organizational skills
o Education and/or experience in the warehouse, shipping industry necessary to operate as explained above.
o Understanding of standard knowledge of shipping and receiving, regulations & equipment capabilities
o Ability to set priorities and work under minimal supervision
o Ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice

The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations:

· Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, wrapping machines, and tools
· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. from a stationary position
