Position Profile:
We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Medical Sales Representative to join our team in Fort Liberty, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be located on or near Fort Liberty (formerly Fort Bragg). Responsibilities would include:
- Develop and maintain relationships extensively with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nursing/office staff and administrators, within the assigned territory.
- Identify new business opportunities and effectively manage sales leads to drive revenue growth.
- Facilitates educational in-services, product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our medical equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve problems, facilitate solutions, and enhance the referral/customer experience. Ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer and referral source satisfaction is maintained.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify potential opportunities and threats.
Qualifications:
The ideal Medical Sales Representative is an engaging team member who presents themselves and the company in a positive way. Confident and dynamic, this outgoing professional is a self-starter, and an independent thinker with an encouraging attitude.
This articulate communicator will use excellent written and verbal skills to solve problems and make decisions. Being an excellent listener and presenter helps this flexible and adaptable relationship-builder can relate to different audiences and change gears quickly. Other requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Proven track record of success in medical sales or a related field.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Ability to work independently or as a team.
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry and medical terminology is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required, along with a clean drug test and background check.
