Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our construction team. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Duties:
- Coordinate and supervise all construction activities on-site
- Manage and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other construction documents
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore to track project progress, update schedules, and communicate with team members
- Estimate construction costs using tools such as HeavyBid and provide input on contract negotiations
- Implement and enforce OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Skills:
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore for project tracking and communication
- Experience with scheduling software like Primavera for efficient project planning
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and tools like HeavyBid
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Thorough understanding of quality control processes to ensure project compliance with specifications
