RDT is currently seeking a Senior Design Engineer who will work on our New Product Development and Sustainability team. You will be successful in this position if you have the capacity to do the following duties:
· Lead Engineer on new product development and new technology activities (A2L, CO2, and ultra-low temp systems, etc.).
· Lead regulatory compliance with appropriate agencies (DOE, EPA, UL, ASHRAE).
· Provide research and dissemination of technical information on new technology and industry trends to both customers and employees.
· Coordinate sustainability efforts on existing products.
· Diagnose current electronic controls situation, suggest improvements.
· Support vendor and component qualifications.
Required Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
· 5 to 7 years of previous Engineering experience.
· Experience in thermodynamics, refrigeration application engineering, and electronic controls.
· Previous HVACR industry experience strongly preferred.
· Able to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and manage deadlines efficiently.
· Excellent people and time management skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
