Position Overview:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in various essential warehousing functions such as picking, packing, inventory, and quality assurance. This position is also responsible for maintaining a clean and well-organized work environment. Ensuring that the company receives, logs, and transports cannabis goods comply with all Los Angeles and State of California track and trace requirements.
General Duties (Not Exhaustive of all Duties)
- Load and unload products from and into delivery vehicles.
- Stock, move and organize inventory in the warehouse incoordination with the Warehouse Manager.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse workspace and equipment.
- Label and track products received as required by regulations and standards.
- Prepare and stage shipments in preparation for delivery.
- Perform regular inventory counts of all shipments and report discrepancies.
- Provide general assistance to the Warehouse Manager.
- Interface with sales representatives.
- Interface with delivery drivers
- Report all safety concerns in the warehouse to management
Daily Tasks: (Not Exhaustive of all Tasks)
- Respond to email.
- Pick and pack orders.
- Verify and prepare shipping manifestos.
- Provide product intake assistance.
- Ensure warehouse organization.
- Compile and process paperwork, printing, labeling.
- Input all delivery data into METRC.
- Run dispatch for all picking and order packaging.
Collaboration:
- Keep the office area tidy to maintain a functional work environment.
- Deliver goods when needed.
- Communicate directly with producers and clients as necessary.
- Work with team members to develop, learn, and implement new systems.
Technology and Other Requirements:
- Possess basic math skills.
- Must have basic functionality on a modern PC.
- Familiarity with network printing, scanning and sending documents, driver installation, and troubleshooting.
- Must be smartphone fluent.
- Must have a clear understanding of internet research standards and protocols.
- Support the mission and spirit of the organization and be comfortable with cannabis.
- Be patient, proactive, positive, and a team player.
- Self-starting with solid follow-through and multi-tasking capabilities.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload.
- Must interact effectively with all levels of management and staff, internally and externally.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma.
- Associates degree or two years relevant experience in distribution/transportation required.
- Must be at least 21 years old and pass a criminal background check.
- Cannabis experience is a plus, though it is not required.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:
- Current, valid driver’s license.
- Clean driving record.
- Reliable vehicle and insurance.
- Current Fork Lift operation license or willingness to attain one within one month of hire
BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:
- Full-time, hourly non-exempt position.
- Compensation is $18-$20 hour DOE.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work may require prolonged physical labor, bending, stooping, and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate a computer, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing. Requires close vision with the ability to see color and adjust focus. Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly using ergonomic lifting techniques and safety equipment.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is high-energy, fast-paced, and, due to the nature of the current regulatory landscape, often highly stressful. Position requires regular availability to work Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, occasional nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to the Finished Goods Manager
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: This position does not oversee other positions
