Job Overview:
Develop and deliver training programs for FirstService Residential and play a critical role in onboarding new hires, equipping them with the operational knowledge and system skills necessary to navigate the world of Homeowner Associations. You will also provide training on the legal landscape, governing documents, and best practices within the HOA industry.
Compensation: $60,000+ annually based on experience
FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver a comprehensive onboarding program for new hires
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs tailored specifically for the Homeowner Association (HOA) industry, covering topics such as operational procedures, system usage, legal compliance, and best practices
- Conduct engaging and informative training sessions, utilizing various delivery methods such as in-person workshops, virtual sessions, webinars, and e-learning modules
- Facilitate training sessions focused on enhancing employees' proficiency in using relevant systems and software applications essential for HOA operations, such as management software and communication platforms
- Continuously assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback mechanisms and evaluation metrics, adjusting as necessary to enhance learning outcomes and meet organizational goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align training initiatives with organizational objectives and ensure seamless integration with overall talent development strategies
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in designing and delivering effective training programs using a variety of methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to engage and captivate audiences during training sessions through dynamic presentation skills, including the use of visual aids, storytelling techniques, and interactive activities
- Capability to assess training needs, evaluate learning outcomes, and gather feedback to continuously improve training programs and optimize learning experiences for employees
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and external partners to develop and deliver comprehensive training solutions that meet organizational objectives
- Proficiency in identifying training gaps, addressing challenges, and developing creative solutions to enhance employee performance and productivity within the HOA industry
Education and Experience:
- 3 years delivering effective training programs
- 2 year developing content and facilitator guides
- Proficient with PowerPoint
- Proficient with MS Office suite
- Prior experience in HOA industry is preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Work primarily in an office setting
- Standing and moving around a room while facilitating

Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8a – 5p
Travel Requirements: Some local travel required with the use of a personal vehicle
