Sr Practice Manager, PMO

THE ROLE
We are seeking a Sr Practice Manager to partner with our global community of project managers and establish project management standards, processes, Certinia practices, and quality controls to ensure that projects are executed efficiently, with expected outcomes and excellent customer and/or stakeholder experience. The role will reside within the Customer Experience and Portfolio team.
Successful candidates will combine expertise in project management and program governance, stakeholder analysis and relationship management, plus executive relationships to help steer successful and timely outcomes. The PMO standards will leverage industry and solutions experience plus Certinia’s portfolio and design guidance to enable a customer experience that improves customer adoption rates and drives positive NPS results. The role is expected to deliver thought leadership while improving the overall capabilities and skills of Project Managers both internally and through a strong alliance with Certinia’s certified partner ecosystem.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE
- Establish the Certinia point of view for PM Methodology, segmented across our portfolio of programs and project types for both large enterprise and smaller mid-market clients
- Develop, implement, and govern program management processes, tools, templates, policies and metrics (e.g. methodology)
- Steer compliance with project policies, standards, and quality
- Continuously improve the methodology for project execution and internal business management aligned with Certinia objectives and priorities
- Coach and mentor project management practitioners and share knowledge of best practices
- Collaborate closely with Professional Services Operations to roll out and drive adoption of new methods and policies
- Engage with Certinia Partner Center of Excellence (COE) in support of partner-led programs to provide quality assurance and support to our top partners
- Establish trusted executive and functional relationships with leadership, Certinia teams and customers to assure the effectiveness of the PMO standards.
- Stay up to date on competitive and market trends to reinforce Certinia’s expertise in project management, PS Automation and related topics
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
Bachelor Degree educated or equivalent experience + certification in a relevant project management methodology (PMP or PgMP desired)
- 8+ years of experience managing complex projects with interrelated processes, requirements, and cross-functional teams
- 2+ years of Change Management (OCM) familiarity and practice
- Demonstrable experience defining best practices and rolling out change as either a functional lead or through managing Project Manager teams
- Previous experience working with partner organisations and co-delivery arrangements
- Significant experience with Agile and hybrid deployment methodologies
- Expert‐level knowledge of project and change management, methodologies, techniques, processes combined with budget, cost and profitability management skills.
- Knowledge of resource management tools (Certinia PS Cloud is a +)
- Deep understanding of the Professional Services & SaaS solutions market, with an awareness of Certinia’s customer needs and expectations
- Ability to successfully manage cross-functionally to resolve problems and propose solutions that work for multiple stakeholders, with demonstrable skills in managerial courage and influencing without authority
- Self-motivated / self-directed and capable of multi-tasking, effective prioritization and accepting change both in tasks and schedule
- Comfortable communicating up and down an organization, using business acumen to support decision-making, dealing with ambiguity and holding others accountable
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of time

Salary Range: $139,200- $191,400
