Spirent Positioning Technology designs, manufactures, and supplies advanced satellite navigation test and simulation systems, many of which comprise radio frequency signal generators and computer systems running complex application software; all designed in-house.
As a Senior Application Engineer at Spirent, you'll play a pivotal role in collaborating with our most influential customers, working on cutting edge technologies and solutions. Your expertise will contribute to shaping the future of our products and services.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical and applications support primarily in pre-sales but also in post-sales situations. To begin with focus will be on the Chipset and Hyperscaler market.
While working closely with customers it would be expected of you to build relationships with them, develop a deep understanding of their use cases, challenges, and requirements. The ability to collaborate with teams across Spirent and manage external relationships is key. This position will report to the Director of Services and involve working with our team in the UK. You will have a close working relationship with peers in Sales, Business Development, Services and Product management.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, from an accredited university, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or another technical field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience which should also include relevant industry experience with GNSS, PNT or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with test automation programming environments including LabView; Matlab desirable.
- Self-motivated team player with proven problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
- Ability to communicate technical material clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work closely with other people to solve challenging problems.
- Experience using GNSS Test Equipment and/or GNSS receivers is a plus.
- Travel may be required up to 25%
Annualized Salary Wage Range: $145,000 - $200,000
Spirent applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience at or in line with the minimum requirements.
