Empowering Technology Solutions (ETS) is a family owned and operated managed services and security provider headquartered in Bloomington, Illinois. We are seeking an energetic, organized, and well communicated client account manager to join our team. Currently our President and inside sales rep manages all existing customer accounts. The goal of your position is to manage the inside sales rep and take lead on most account management activities. You will report directly to the President of the company.
Specific job duties include:
- Master our two CRM systems and specifically understanding how the opportunity module works, how that flows into the quoting system, and how our outbound CRM platform operates.
- Taking vendor provided training around our core business offerings.
- Completing technical business reviews (TBR's) with your customer portfolio on a recurring base, recording notes, documenting next steps, and keeping customers happy.
- Work with our technical team to build proposals that help our customers achieve business results.
- Running reports to identify cross-sell opportunity, identifying older computer hardware that needs upgraded, and learning where customers can improve.
What success looks like:
- Properly tracking all your work in our customer relationship system.
- Completing 99% of all customer meetings on time, with notes properly documented, and any next steps sent to the appropriate parties.
- You become certified in our top vendors as are known as a product expert.
- Becoming a partner our customers love and trust.
Preferred experience:
- Proven experience with inside sales or as client account manager; or a good communicator with a technical background currently working an IT related job.
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
- Experience managing tasks, projects, and taking chaos into manageable tasks.
- Past experience that required getting in video calls, conference calls, and meeting customers onsite when required.
