Job Responsibilities
- Completing preventive maintenance requirements and repair on the following: Mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems for AC filter and respirator manufacturing machines, packaging machines and other related machineries. Follows diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications. Assist mechanics/electricians with any problems the machine is having.
- Inspect machinery and workpieces to ensure that they remain compliant with specifications to reduce any malfunctions and associated loss of production. Inspect, repair, and replace defective or worn parts. Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs in a safe and timely manner.
- Performs preventive cleaning maintenance on equipment according to a Preventive Maintenance Schedule to ensure production schedules are met with properly functioning equipment. Keeps accurate records/logs of maintenance and other documents. Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitors compliance.
- Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level. Places and expedites orders and verifies receipt.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring and components like motors, relays, fuses, and other electrical components.
Education
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent or higher.
- Technical knowledge, diagnostic and repair abilities with precision electro/mechanical manufacturing equipment including pneumatics, hydraulics, power transmission, bearings, compressed air and filtration systems.
Experience
- Requires 2 years of related experience including:
- Maintenance/Repair/FMEA
- Lock-Out Tag-Out Procedure
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in Manufacturing
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an industrial/commercial maintenance role preferred.
- This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week and weekends as required.
- Must be self-motivated and able to deal with uncertainty.
- Knowledge of power and hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills and pliers.
- Knowledge of advanced tools such as drill/thread tap, soldering tool kit, multimeter, pneumatic tools and diagnostic equipment preferred.
- Must be able to work in small, tight places and be able to lift 50 lbs weight.
- Experience with safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment
- Hand-on experience and organizational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
