Fast food franchise operator is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented office assistant to provide bookkeeping and administrative support. The candidate selected for this position will work closely with the company owner and will act as liaison to contracted CPA firm. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills & strong problem-solving abilities, be self-motivated & able to work independently, and be able to multitask.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage various projects, act as liaison for owner
- Manage accounts payable
- Review inventory spread sheets
- Reconcile daily cash/ credit card/ 3rd party delivery deposits
- Review company P & L statements
- Assist location managers with operations support (ie Ordering uniforms, managing utilities, coordinating inspections, renewing permits, etc)
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Collection and sorting of mail
- Proper handling and processing of paperwork
- Misc clerical tasks as necessary
Requirements:
- Minimum three years proven experience as a bookkeeper or in an administrative support role
- Proficient with MS office, Adobe, and standard office equipment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outgoing, confident demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Bilingual in Spanish is helpful, but not required
- A clean background check will be required
This will be a work from home position most of the time, with weekly meetings at our west Houston office. This opportunity will eventually be a full-time position; however, we would prefer someone who can start in a part-time role and expand the job responsibilities. Salary is negotiable for the right candidate.

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
