As a valued member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations and guest services of our newly constructed IHG property. With your expertise in hospitality management, you will ensure that our guests receive top-notch service and enjoy a memorable stay. Your exceptional leadership and attention to detail will contribute to the success and reputation of our hotel as we establish ourselves as a preferred destination in the area. The General Manager will work directly with the Corporate Vice President of Operations to deliver a seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the hotel staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure the highest standards of customer service are met and maintained consistently throughout all departments.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue, increase profitability, and achieve financial targets.
- Collaborate with the corporate management team to develop and execute marketing and sales initiatives, including effective pricing strategies, promotions, and revenue management practices.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of a skilled and motivated team, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate action plans.
- Maintain a strong relationship with IHG brand representatives, ensuring compliance with brand standards and participating in brand-related initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, health, and safety regulations.
- Maintain a strong presence in the local market, building relationships with key stakeholders and identifying opportunities for business growth.
Qualifications and Requirements:.
- Previous management experience in an IHG brand hotel or similar hotel environment.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets, managing costs, and delivering exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Solid understanding of revenue management principles and strategies.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and budgeting.
- Familiarity with IHG brand standards and procedures is highly desirable.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
