Job Summary
As a Logistics Associate, you will be responsible for the logistics process, including planning, execution, and optimization. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Quality, to ensure that our products are delivered to customers on time and in full.
Responsibilities
- Consistently achieves schedule commitments, promise dates and ensures customer demands are met.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize the logistics process and improve overall efficiency.
- Communicates effectively and professionally with office staff, Sales Representatives, and all third-party end-users.
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of existing products and new product introductions (instruments and implants) to effectively function in the field.
- Ensure SOP compliance, delivery performance, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Receive incoming orders and diligently check products for quality before signing to accept.
- Review and verify outgoing orders for accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized warehouse to meet OSHA and FDA regulations.
- Dispose of damaged, defective, or obsolete products through proper regulatory and quality procedures.
- Prepare records of inventory shortages and shipments (i.e., quarter, and annual cycle-counts).
- Keep records of all interactions and transactions of data regarding product and inventory inquires.
- Use computers and software to enter, access, retrieve data.
- Store items orderly and easily accessible in warehouse based on protocol.
- Understand and follow procedures to manage inventory shelf life and expiring inventory.
- Inspect products or materials for damage, defects, or shortages.
- Perform or assist with other duties and projects as needed & as assigned.
