**Job Description:**
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and personable Prospector / Sales Representative to join our team. The job really is as simple as going out and meeting the right people and representing our company well. **Qualifications:**
- Some sales experience, preferably in the commercial painting or construction industry, but we’re also willing to train the RIGHT candidate!
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a collaborative spirit.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Identify and research potential commercial clients in the Alexandria and Washington DC Metro area.
- Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and community events.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients to understand their painting needs.
- Present our services in a compelling and customer-focused manner.
- Schedule appointments and follow up diligently to convert leads into clients.
- Collaborate with our sales and marketing teams to develop effective sales strategies.
- Keep meticulous records of prospecting activities and client interactions in our CRM system.
- Meet requirements for number of contacts made and followed up on.
**Who we work with:**
- Commercial property managers, facility managers, warehouse and plant managers, building owners, church, school and hotel facility managers, business professionals, other contractors, and other key decision makers.
- Some of the most well known properties and landmarks in the D.C. Metro area and beyond.
