Job Summary:
We are seeking an an IT Manager who will be responsible for all of our IT/Helpdesk related staffing, software licensing, networks, laptops, office wifi networks, security and IT roadmaps. This position will also lead the development of onboarding and offboarding processes and procedures from an IT perspective. This role will also partner with network engineering and security to develop, implement and maintain secure networks, including policy development.
Duties Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate IT support efforts across multiple locations
- Oversee day-to-day IT support activities, including problem resolution, request fulfillment, and software maintenance
- Ensure compliance with enterprise standards for Windows desktop/laptop systems
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware and software
- Research, implement, and support mobile technology
- Manage the department budget, staff schedules, task assignments, project deliverables, and annual reviews
Education/Experience:
- 10+ years of multi-office IT management preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in managing people preferred
- Experience with and strong understanding of IT security, software license purchases, negotiations and renewals
- Previous telecommunications IT/Helpdesk management is a plus
Competencies:
- Strong understanding of Windows Active Directory environments and various Windows operating systems
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and centralized management systems
- Hands-on experience with mobile devices, networking, and server management
- Demonstrated ability to plan strategically and implement tactically
- Superior people and project management skills
- Superior troubleshooting skills
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
