Coordinates completion of the IRF-PAI (Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Patient Assessment Instrument) in accordance with timelines stipulated by the CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services).
Maintains current knowledge of IRF specific changes, trends, and updates. Compiles reports used for Quality Indicator monitoring and tracking. Works collaboratively with the treatment and leadership team to maintain and monitor regulatory compliance.
Currently licensed/certified/registered as an RN, PT, OT, TR or SLP in the State of Georgia, with experience in caring for adult/geriatric clients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
Excellent assessment, verbal, interpersonal, interviewing and team building skills.
Prefer a working knowledge of the IRF-PAI
Strong computer skills
Self-motivated to work independently with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
PREFERRED:
Knowledge of Joint Commission standards of care.
Knowledge of billing practices and reimbursement for Medicare.
