Job Description:
Iron Horse Companies, a leading commercial plumbing company based in Arizona, is seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our team at our Corporate office in Tempe, AZ. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting project management activities and ensuring the successful execution of commercial plumbing projects. As a Project Coordinator, you will work closely with Project Managers and the Director of Construction, utilizing Procore software and your expertise in plan analysis, material counts, and document preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Project Managers and the Director of Construction to coordinate and monitor project activities.
- Utilize Procore software to review project plans and specifications, assisting with material counts and identifying any discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit project-related documents, including submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
- Track project progress, update project schedules, and assist in managing project documentation.
- Assist in coordinating project meetings, taking minutes, and distributing relevant information to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Project Coordinator in the construction industry, preferably in commercial plumbing.
- Proficiency in using Procore software for project management.
- Strong understanding of plan analysis, material counts, and document preparation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in preparing submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project is a plus.
