Front Office:
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and skilled full-time front office receptionist to perform various office and clinical duties to keep our fast-paced dermatology practice running efficiently. This team member must be self-motivated, courteous, a team player, dependable, eager to learn, accurate and thorough.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As the welcoming face to the office, be courteous and helpful toward patients, providers, coworkers, and external customers.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a multi-line phone system to ensure calls are answered promptly.
- Performs phone operator functions, including but not limited to: triaging calls, connecting and transferring calls, instructing users on telephone procedures, reporting telephone and equipment malfunctions to the appropriate party.
- Scheduling appointments for patients in accordance with office guidelines and provider recommendations.
- Demonstrates the knowledge of insurance benefits and accurately collect patient payments.
- Maintaining flow of patient check-in and check-out, verifying up-to-date demographics and insurance information within patient’s medical records.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent telephone etiquette, and professionalism and understanding of general medical ethics.
- Typing at least 35 WPM
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred, but not required.
- Experience in a healthcare office environment and answering high-volume telephone calls
Medical Assistant:
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for passionate, detail-oriented and skilled Medical Assistant to join a fast-paced dermatology practice. Candidates must possess a thorough knowledge of the skin, possess familiarity with dermatology conditions and medications, possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills, and be willing to train in the company’s specific offerings for medical and cosmetic treatments.
RESPONSIBILITES
Job responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:
- Assist in obtaining patient history, chief complaint and vital signs as necessary and completing all charting to provider’s preference
- Set up rooms as needed for in-office procedures and assist provider with office procedures as needed
- Collect and process specimens accurately and timely
- Answer and direct all phone calls and messages appropriately
- Knowledgeably relay treatment plans, pre- and post-procedure care, and prescription instructions to patients
- Effectively communicates and works well with other team members
QUALIFICATIONS
- Medical Assistant certification
- Dermatology experience preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability to work at other office locations when/where needed for coverage or training purposes.
- Energetic, creative, passionate, personable and knowledgeable regarding the dermatology industry
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Desire to learn new techniques and follow company protocols and guidelines
- All employees must maintain a clean and well-groomed appearance, as set by company guidelines.
