Front of House Manager

Job Overview:
NOIR restaurant is a restaurant in Great Neck that is serving upscale Israeli cuisine. We are hiring a floor manager to oversee day to day operations of the dining room, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Your work schedule will be Sunday to Thursday, 4PM to closing. Fridays and Saturdays off!
Responsibilities:
- Manage and train a team of floor staff, including servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses
- Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns
- Closing payroll for front of house employees
-Scheduling all front of house employees
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Handle cash transactions and manage POS systems
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and floor management
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with bartending and culinary skills is beneficial
