The Customer Returns Program Analyst role will be the primary contact for creating complex price files and customer reporting. The Returns Analyst, (RA) will work directly with the Customer Returns Solutions team, internal stakeholders, and other financial analysts on returns, customer pricing analysis, trending, profitability modeling, reporting, as well as other initiatives highlighted below.
The Returns Program Analyst is responsible for reviewing complex business processes, managing the unsalable returns process, assist with large data file analysis, assist with returns pricing and ensuring regulatory & contract compliance. Additionally, this position will support the retained team with ad hoc reporting, research, and process improvement initiatives. This position is expected to complete tasks with minimal direct supervision. This is a critical function within the Customer Returns Solutions team and is the foundation for all downstream transactions. This individual must thrive in performing meticulous research and be extremely detail oriented in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Understand and communicate (written and/or verbal) subject matter expertise on unsalable returns procedure

Partner with team to understand customer’s business needs and develop “win-win” solutions that help drive McKesson’s financial performance

Track and manage to contractual obligations with respect to customer returns

Prepare and run customer returns pricing analysis

Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as needed

Identify areas for improvements and drive solutions
Minimum Requirements
1 year of financial and large data analysis experience
Critical Skills

Ability to communicate effectively and interface with stakeholders/customers

Understanding root cause analytical capabilities

Experience with preparing and providing detailed financial reporting

Exceptional Excel skills and data analysis techniques required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills capable of promoting trust and collaboration with internal and external business partners

Bachelor’s Degree in related field is preferred but will accept equivalent experience
