St. Mary's Community Services is currently hiring for a Facilities Maintenance Personnel. This position supports supervisor in the maintenance department. Employees will perform a variety of landscaping and general building maintenance work.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Facilities Maintenance Person Include:
1. Assists in ensuring the daily functioning of the facilities.
2. Assists in maintaining the grounds, gardens, and buildings.
3. Performs general repairs as requested.
4. Assists in the distribution of supplies to the various departments to ensure that they are able to function appropriately.
5. Maintains equipment to ensure proper functioning and lasting performance.
6. Drives company truck and drops off or picks up items as assigned.
7. Will embrace our mission statement and work to enrich the lives of the guests we serve.

Qualifications
The qualifications of the Facilities Maintenance Person are as follows:
Understanding of basic materials and equipment - both hand and power tools, which are required to perform a variety of landscaping and repair (plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.) work.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: 6 or more years’ experience working in general, skilled maintenance and repair work including carpentry, electrical, plumbing and general upkeep.
LICENSE/ CERTIFICATE: Current driver's license and clean driving record
PHYSICAL & MENTAL:
Mobility: frequent standing for long periods; frequent operation of power equipment; frequent walking, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, reaching, holding/grasping, and turning objects.
Lifting: frequent lifting of 15 pounds or less; occasional lifting of 5-50 pounds.
Visual: constant use of good, overall vision and reading/close-up work; moderate use of color perception and hand/eye coordination; occasional use of depth perception and peripheral vision.
Hearing/Talking: frequent hearing of normal speech, talking/hearing on the telephone/radio and in person.
Emotional/Psychological: frequent decision-making, concentration, and public contact, occasional exposure to situations involving trauma, grief, or death.
Environmental: frequent work both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to varied weather conditions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
