Building Material Distributors (BMD) is hiring a Sr. Data Analyst to join its employee-owned national company to be the Champion of DMSi Agility ERP! We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team and become the go-to expert for our DMSi Agility ERP system.
What you’ll do:
- ERP Champion: Lead the charge in maximizing the potential of our DMSi Agility ERP system, uncovering new and unused features to drive business growth and efficiency.
- BOM Management: Create and maintain all Bills of Materials (BOMs) with precision and accuracy.
- Data Stewardship: Manage and maintain all critical data within the ERP system, including customer, item, and supplier information.
- Cross-Functional Support: Assist all functional groups in navigating the ERP, ensuring they utilize the system effectively and efficiently.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with various teams to develop streamlined processes that prioritize system maintenance and data integrity.
- Problem Solving: Embrace challenges, explore the unknown, and pave new paths to enhance our ERP capabilities.
- Expert Resource: Serve as the go-to person for ERP-related inquiries, providing expert guidance and support to your colleagues.
The Successful Candidate:
- Pass a pre-employment 4-panel drug test.
- B.A. or B.S. in Business Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 4 years of data analysis experience using company databases and spreadsheet programs in the building products industry or other similar or transferable industries.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience – expert level understanding of DMSi Agility ERP system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows operating system; advanced skill level in Excel.
- Proficient with CQ (cyber queries) writing in Agility.
- SQL query knowledge preferred.
- Proficient in 10-key usage and with office equipment.
- Knowledge of interior and exterior door manufacturing processes preferred.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions.
- Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and system reliability.
- Effective Communicator: Excellent communication skills to train and support team members in using the ERP system.

What We Offer:
- Starting pay of $75,000 per year. You will also have an opportunity to earn Team Incentive Performance (TIP) pay when the team achieves performance targets.
- The flexibility to work from home. Generally, your full-time work schedule will be Mon – Fri from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
