This role is subject to a flexible hybrid work arrangement requiring a minimum of 1-2 pre-determined days per week in our mid-town office.
SUMMARY
Under general supervision, is responsible for performing series of qualitative and quantitative analyses of patient Echocardiography images. The analyses are performed with standardized and innovative software packages and according to predefined guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Archive, digitize, control the quality, and perform measurements and image interpretation of echocardiographic images received in Foundation’s Echocardiographic Core Laboratory, related to ongoing Foundation contracted studies.

Data management duties, such as data entry of qualitative and quantitative image results.

Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED.

Currently a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).

Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Sonographer.

Familiarity with TomTec and Digisonics is a plus. Knowledge of the most recent measurement techniques in cardiovascular echography, recognition of echo images and the different scan planes therein, TTE echo’s (acquisition, visual analysis, Doppler velocities, hemodynamics, chamber quantification), TEE echo’s.

COMPENSATION
The hiring range for this position is $80,000 - $85,000 per year. The annual salary that will ultimately be offered to the successful candidate will depend on job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience.
