We are seeking an AI/ML Engineer who will develop algorithms, write scripts, build predictive analytics, use automation, apply machine learning, and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn a set of data points into objective answers to help senior leadership make informed decisions. The role involves applying data mining techniques, performing statistical analysis, and building high-quality prediction models. The engineer will work closely with customer management, project managers, system architects, data scientists, data engineers, and machine learning engineers to formulate recommendations for enhancements and improvements using innovative engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and train Large Language Models (LLMs) in support of the customer mission.
- Investigate business area processes for creative implementation of LLMs.
- Apply data mining techniques to perform statistical analysis.
- Assist with technical planning activities, including roadmap development and systems integration.
- Collaborate with a variety of customers and contractors, providing technical consultation, meeting coordination, and support.
- Participate in the development of technical project plans, reports, and contract briefings.
Required Knowledge/Skills:
- Active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or another related technical discipline with 10+ years of equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of related software engineering experience.
- Familiarity with Large Language Model (LLM) architectures and training procedures.
- Experience with search architecture tools (e.g., Solr, ElasticSearch).
- Experience with Big Data Frameworks such as Spark or Hadoop.
- Proficiency in Data Science frameworks such as Keras, TensorFlow, or Theano.
- Experience building querying ontologies such as Zeno, OWL, RDF, SparQL.
- Experience with GPU processing and word2vec or doc2vec algorithms.
- Proficient in Java and Python.
- Experience using an IDE to code (e.g., Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ, Eclipse, NetBeans).
- Experience interacting in a Linux environment (e.g., Bash scripting, VI).
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a constantly evolving work environment.
Desired Knowledge/Skills:
- Familiarity with source code management and integration tools (e.g., GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins).
- Hands-on experience with cloud technology (AWS / C2S).
- Experience in an Agile environment.
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito, Swagger, Postman).
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL).
- Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript.
- Experience with front-end development (e.g., Angular 2+, React, HTML, CSS, JQuery).

Pay: $185,000.00 - $215,000.00 per year
