Position Summary
Ontility, powered by TerrePower, is currently seeking a Solar Sales Manager to join our team in Houston, TX. The Solar Sales Manager will develop business relationships through networking and partnering with installers, developers, EPCs, finance companies, distributors, brokers, manufacturers, government entities, and end users to promote TerrePower’s brand in the marketplace. TerrePower, a new division of BBB Industries, LLC, is committed to solar and electric vehicle upcycling. Ontility supplies top-quality PV panels, inverters, mounting hardware, and other solar products to solar integrators and other qualified solar contracting firms.
Responsibilities
Develop and Manage Relationships: Create and expand responsibilities with key decision-makers at leading solar and storage project developers by understanding the customer’s needs and business processes.
Business Development: Utilize personal networks, web searches, attend trade shows/conferences, and call on potential clients to develop new business opportunities.
Sales Communication: Communicate quotes and propositions to customers based on ONTILITY’s service offerings.
Deal Management: Develop deals and manage customer/client transactions based on internal guidelines and requirements.
Long-term Engagement: Engage in long-term relationships with site-owners, energy users, and organization stakeholders within the commercial solar sector.
Minimum Experience
2+ years Sales Experience
2+ Cold Calling, Business development
BS/BA required
Experience selling to solar distributor or manufacturer
