Position Summary:
The IT Manager provides oversight to Encompass’ computer hardware, software, and other technology systems and offers support to Encompass employees. This individual analyzes current system functionalities and researches potential improvements to provide optimal results to the end users. Will make recommendations to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on technology improvements.
Essential Functions:
1. Spearhead and manage the organization's day-to-day IT operations, ensuring smooth functioning systems with high productivity.
2. Comprehensive understanding of diverse IT equipment including computers, Tablets, Mobile Device Management (MDM), phones and phone systems, copiers, security cameras, and IT infrastructure.
3. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications including Access and Power Automate
4. Collaborate and serve as primary contact with IT Vendors, ensuring vendor performance meets organization standards.
5. Actively updates, maintains, and monitors all aspects of computer networks and infrastructure with assistance from an outsourced network engineer.
6. Set up and maintain user accounts ensuring that users have appropriate security rights and software access.
7. Base knowledge of the software used by the organization to help support users. Work with software vendors on troubleshooting glitches and software support.
8. Collaborate on cross-organizational projects, leveraging advanced technological expertise to drive innovation and contribute to diverse initiatives.
9. Identify upcoming agency hardware and software needs proactively, providing informed recommendations to the CFO. Manage IT equipment inventory and appropriate disposal of equipment.
10. Empower new hires and employees by delivering cybersecurity training, equipping them with vital knowledge to safeguard company assets.
11. Engage in optimizing the agency's information security platform, ensuring peak performance, and safeguarding sensitive data with utmost diligence.
12. Provide prompt response to employee inquiries, offering expert troubleshooting and resolution for technology challenges.

Education/Experience:
· A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or higher in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
· 1-3 years of relevant experience in a customer focused position involving technical knowledge of a company’s products and services desired.

Pay: $54,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
