Primary Responsibilities

Lead Hanon discussion and tracking of customer and supplier orders, red borders, and delivery timing.

Write and track Purchase Requisitions in SAP for orders of prototype parts, tooling, shipping, etc. to support Engineering Team.

Coordination, quoting, and execution of shipping activities for incoming inventory, returns, and customer deliverables.

Timely invoicing for received parts and delivered parts.

Lead the creation, coordination, updates, and communication to stakeholders of a Prototype Build Plan which documents the timing and quantities of end-item builds including anticipated additional non-process testing needs with Engineering Support.

Work directly with the customer on end-item and component orders (including GPIRS or other customer system).

Coordinate and update (Red Border) delivery dates with the customer.

Coordinate Inventory-related activities including Inventory Tracker usage, usability updates, inventory recounts, and incoming inventory and documentation (such as quantities, packing slips, invoicing, and reject return shipments).

Regularly track, monthly forecast, and report out of Module Department budget related to Prototypes including Expenses, Revenue, etc.

Interface with multiple product groups such as PD Departments, Advanced Systems, Manufacturing, Program Management, Lab, Accounting, etc.

Admin of MES system and backup coordinator for MES activities (troubleshooting, issue resolution, updates, etc.) to the Process Lead Engineer.

Perform daily practices related to Safety, Quality, and 5S.

Cross-trained with Prototype Lead Engineer and Process Lead Engineer to support team coverage as needed.

Back-up support to the Prototype Lead Engineer in Build Room management activities such as coordinating the build schedule and providing direction to the Prototype Technicians.

Trained member of Hanon Emergency Response Team.

Follow all company policies.

Experience:
-
2+ years of related experience preferred
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree required
-
Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or computer science preferred
Desired Competencies, Experience, & Qualifications

Experience in project planning and management

Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)

Demonstrated ability to professionally interface and negotiate with internal and external customers related to the Primary Responsibilities

Ability to work professionally and communicate effectively in a diverse environment with multiple teams

Experience in using SAP for writing and tracking Purchase Requisitions

Closely work with the Lab and Build Room to help coordinate non-process testing and timing

Knowledge of basic accounting to track and report Prototype Budget monthly to stakeholders
Special Requirements (i.e., Overtime, Travel, etc.)
- Occasional (<10%) travel to suppliers, customers, corporate offices, and manufacturing plants, including some international travel, as deemed necessary
- Standing 8 hours regularly
