The Area Vice President (VP) of Sales is responsible for overseeing and driving sales activities within a designated geographical area. This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing a high-performing sales team, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets and company objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive sales experience, and the ability to foster long-term client relationships.
Role Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Leadership:-
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy focused on opening new accounts and acquiring new logos to achieve revenue targets and market share goals.

Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team objectives.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer-centricity within the sales organization.
New Business Development:-
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the region, expanding Core BTS’s market presence.

Drive the acquisition of new clients by effectively positioning Core BTS’s value proposition and differentiating our services from competitors.

Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.

Represent Core BTS at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
Client Relationship Management:-
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and positioning Core BTS as their trusted advisor.

Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Core BTS’s services to existing clients.

Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention through excellent service delivery and proactive engagement.
Partnership and Collaboration:-
Collaborate with Microsoft, Cisco, and other strategic partners to leverage joint solutions and go-to-market initiatives.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within partner organizations.
Financial Management:-
Develop and manage the regional sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for executive leadership, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred.

10+ years of experience in sales leadership within the IT consulting and managed services industry.

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.

Deep understanding of AI, data center modernization, cloud computing with Azure, custom application development, data and analytics, and managed services.

Strong relationship-building skills with clients, partners, and internal teams.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

Experience working with Microsoft and Cisco technologies is highly desirable.

Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, partners, and team members.
