JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a qualified candidate to work as a full-time IT Project Manager with data analysis and business analysis experience for a Government client in Washington, District of Columbia. The Project Manager shall have substantial project and operations management expertise. The Project Manager plans, organizes, directs, and controls the project to ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled, quality standards are met, and associated expectations of performance are achieved. The Project Manager must demonstrate proficiency in strong verbal and written communication to ensure that the client business requirements are met while providing a variety of advisory services around project management, business process development, and implementation support.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing multiple concurrent project tasks, providing expert direction and guidance to subordinates, developing schedules, formulating work plans, managing and controlling project funds and resources, and serving as the point of contact with Government CORs/Task Monitors and/or customer personnel.
Must be an Active Certified Project Management Professional (PgMP or ITIL) .
NOTE: MUST be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
Location: Onsite, DCF Location - 8 hours a day between the hours of 6:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday
Role and Responsibilities:
- Working with technical and business staff and leadership across the enterprise to lead the development of strategic plans.
- Engaging directly with senior leadership to understand their vision, requirements, and risks; solicit their feedback and engagement; provide advice, documentation, and other support to guide their strategic business and technical decision making.
- Maintaining service offering and all associated standards, (thorough, visually consistent, and appropriately branded) documentation, shared assets, processes, capabilities, and configuration items in a manner easily accessible and understood by all stakeholders (e.g., well-designed SharePoint site).
- Organizing and supporting the governance board, following up on action items, and completing work as directed by that body.
- Lead the translation of client business requirements into data metrics and solutions, including requirements approval, communication, traceability, and reuse.
- Capture, analyze, and translate requirements into various documentations such as data and business reports, Requirements Traceability Matrix, User Stories, As-Is State Documents, To-Be Solutions and Recommendations Documents (RTM), Meeting Minutes, Comparative Analysis, Analysis of Alternative (AOA), Cost Benefit Analysis and Lessons Learned.
- Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
- Help the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, e.g., product backlog refinement, preplanning, planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives.
- Capture requirements through stakeholder meetings, historical / current documentation, videos and other outlets for requirements analysis and documentation.
- Perform quality assurance on deliverables.
- Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
- Guide the team in estimating and creating user stories and the team’s work.
Minimum Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Social Science, Data Analytics, or other related fields
- Project Management Professional Certification (PgMP) required
- at least five (5) years of experience managing personnel and processes in an IT enterprise environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft computing environment
- Experience providing project briefs to Senior Staff
- Expert in translating technical information to non-technical audiences
- Strong presentation skills
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as team building and mentoring capabilities.
- Technical solution-oriented, excellent analytical skills
- Experience with data visualization tools is highly preferred
Certifications Requirements:
- MUST be a Certified Project Management Professional (PgMP) or IT Infrastructure Library certification.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
