JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Director of Information Technology is a strategic leader responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and securing our multi-site corporate IT environment, encompassing Networks, Servers, Databases, Security systems, and associates’ assets. This role is pivotal in driving the stability and performance improvements needed to support the company's growth, both current and future. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in best-in-class infrastructure and security practices, coupled with strong leadership, accountability, and the ability to take initiative.
Role and Responsibilities:
IT Leadership and Strategy:
· Act as a player coach, providing leadership for all aspects of IT, driving the strategic direction to align with corporate goals and initiatives.
· Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy to support company growth and technological advancements.
· Serve as the senior IT sponsor with customers, addressing issues, questions, and concerns related to the Information Organization.
Infrastructure and Security Management:
· Maintain and enhance the Office 365 environment, leveraging and deploying new features as they become available.
· Assess and improve the cybersecurity posture of the IT infrastructure, systems, and information; develop and execute short- and long-term plans to mitigate security risks.
· Identify, define, and implement technology and process improvement opportunities that optimize efficiency and data quality.
· Look for opportunities to implement AI to assist with repetitive tasks for the user community
Team Management and Development:
· Train, and mentor IT staff, fostering a high-performance culture through effective communication, coaching, and performance assessment.
· Establish and lead a team of IT and Security Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with the goal of providing managed services to clients, covering areas such as Security, A/V, NOC, Telephony, and IoT.
Innovation and Technology Implementation:
· Drive innovation by introducing new technology opportunities that align with corporate goals and enhance the user experience for associates and customers.
· Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the technology infrastructure, systems, and end-user devices.
Operational Excellence:
· Develop and Manage IT cost improvement strategy across purchased services and products including cell phones, CCAAS, Data Center and software licensing.
· Manage network administration tasks, with a preference for experience in CCNA and Meraki networking.
· Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments to support technology initiatives and process workflows.
· Develop and maintain detailed documentation of process workflows and IT procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
· 10+ years of IT management experience, with a focus on IT infrastructure and security.
· 7+ years of Windows Server administration experience, including AD, DNS, DHCP, and virtual environments; MCSE certification is a plus.
· 7+ years of network administration experience; CCNA certification and Meraki networking experience are highly desirable.
· Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft systems (Windows, Windows Server, Office 365, SQL).
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
· Proven track record of excelling in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
