As a CNA, you will be responsible for various personal care and incidental activities through supportive professional services to meet the needs of patients in accomplishing activities of daily living. Duties involve personal grooming, oral care, personal hygiene, providing nourishment, taking and recording vital signs, etc. Reports any patient changes to the assigned nurse.
What you will do in this role:

Assists, performs, and trains patients/residents in activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting and elimination, and nutritional intake.

Promotes safe and clean interior/exterior physical environment and maintains unobstructed pathways while providing care.

Assists with ambulation, transfers, and/or range of motion exercises.

Assists with activities of daily living such as, light meal preparation, socialization activities, and light homemaking chores related to direct patient care..

Utilizes infection control measures such as hand washing, standard precautions, and use of personal protective equipment.

Organizes self to carry out various visits, shifts, and/or tasks.

Accompanies residents to/from appointments as requested and assigned.

Reports any concerns or changes in the client’s condition and needs to the Nursing Supervisor.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Nursing Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Must be currently certified and registered with the Texas Nurse Aide Registry.

Must have current CPR certification.
In 1970, the first of our two campuses opened in San Antonio. Air Force Village I was followed in 1987 by Air Force Village II.
