About this role
Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, with an interest in and experience with supporting a rapidly growing company and the ability to change shifts to meet the business needs. The Shift Manager is responsible for day-to-day management of the production line.
You are a leader, a problem-solver and a team player who is passionate about beverage. Your goal is to drive productivity through developing both your people and the processes that exist in your facility. We need key players that thrive within a customer-centric production environment and want to lift all of Wildpack one can at a time in your shift.
This is a 3rd shift position (overnight)
A day in the life: What you do

Oversee operations of production line to ensure completion of production schedules effectively and efficiently. Provides technical assistance to machine operators.

Directly manages all daily activities and long-term objectives of their department, in conjunction with managers across shifts or departments.

Independently perform all assignments after being given general instructions as to the results expected.

Must be able to coach and influence employees under their supervision.

Takes the lead and initiates resolution of technical, unusual, or complex problems or issues.

Report any quality issue to QA Manager.

Become very familiar with line metrics and adhere to established daily throughput with number of staff assigned.

Administrative Reporting to direct supervisor via e-mail.

Ensure quality and food safety of all products produced and packed.

Review all job paperwork for accuracy before submission to Supervisor.

Ensure safety of employees, adherence to safety guidelines, and meet safety metrics.

Cross-train all employees assigned to shift on equipment and job specs, while completing 100% of monthly training requirements.

Manage a team of 5-10 hourly employees and create and implement a plan for breaks.

Ensure SOPs and other work rules and protocols are followed.

Lead team to complete tasks assigned to each shift based on targets.

Effectively communicate instructions and information to team members.

Demonstrate an immediate ability to write down verbal directives and translate into working instructions for your team.
Qualifications: What you know

3+ years of Supervisor experience

Experience in Beverage industry

Proficient computer skills

Experienced working with targets

Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 25-30 pounds

Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
