- H.S. Degree is required. Finance experience a plus.
- Scheduled 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with occasional requirement for additional hours outside routine schedule.
Job Overview:
We are looking for an Operations Specialist who has 6 years or more experience in the manufacturing industry for products, parts, and services. The candidate will have experience with Oracle JD- Edwards (JDE) manufacturing or other equivalent systems. Experience with quoting and finance use cases within a business system a plus.
Ability to provide comprehensive and professional support to local Management and Staff personnel. Provides accurate and timely job support, planning, assembly, and reconciliation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Specialist who is a subject matter expert (SME) using the JDE ERP system or equivalent manufacturing software system.
- Lean Manufacturing experience a plus across planning, purchasing, operations, finance, and shipping & receiving roles.
- Ability to work cross functionally with Manufacturing, Receiving, Fabrication, Accounting, Purchasing, Quoting, and Business Development
- Lead transformation to an ERP process driven managed business with internal fabrication and planning, work orders, routing, and cost centers.
- Support production schedule and releases with item entry, BOM entry, work orders, routers, and costing for material and labor
- Processes or supervises purchase orders and departmental invoices for payment
- Conducts analysis and research to address invoicing questions
- Develops and Produces KPI’s and Reports as needed
- May monitor budgetary spending by verifying charges against budget and reconciling accounts on as needed basis
- Executes purchases based upon approved requisitions obtained from business clients
- Answers e-mail and inquiries; follows up with other departments to ensure that requests are carried out
- Completes both routine and non-routine daily and weekly assignments
- Interacts with multiple internal/external clients
- Assist will all international orders processes including shipping paperwork and communications.
