Job Description:
The role of the Social Media Coordinator is to work closely with the content creation team to help produce and distribute content across many channels (TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Shopify).
Core responsibilities include:
●Assist in content strategy and planning
●Video generation
●Video editing
●Help ideate, develop, and curate content calendars
●Content management on our blog pages
Qualifications:
You must have a passion for social media content creation. It requires creating content quickly and on-the-fly…so you always have to be ready to go. You need to have the ability to identify content creation opportunities as well as being able to use multiple apps to turn raw footage into ready-to-post content.
Required Skills:
● Proficient in social media platforms, especially TikTok
● Excellent written and verbal communications skills
● Passion for learning and self-improvement
● Productive time management skills
Preferred Skills:
● Competent at configuring a range of digital tools including phone apps and desktop/cloud based apps (Descript, Captions, Shopify, Google Docs, etc)
● Understanding of social media best practices
Spreadsheet experience (Excel, Google Sheets, etc)
● YouTube content production experience
● Blog experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
